Understanding GenAI Online

Assess essentials in Generative AI: what it is, how it works, and how to think critically about AI-generated information. Focus on how to evaluate, question, and responsibly use AI in academia.

Learning Outcomes:

  • Explain what Generative AI is to make informed decisions about when (and when not) to use AI
  • Identify strengths, limitations, and risks in AI responses
  • Strengthen critical thinking and source evaluation, to maintain agency over academic judgment

 

 

This workshop will be conducted via Zoom. After registration, you will receive the link and password via email. This session will be recorded.

Cancellation policy: The workshop may be canceled due to low enrollment on the day of the planned event.  Slides and any previous recordings will be shared via email with anyone registered for the event.
