Finding Grey Literature

Finding Grey Literature Online

A comprehensive literature review incorporates evidence from a variety of sources, including peer-reviewed articles and grey literature, which includes research, reports, and data from government, industry, or organizations. Grey literature is generated outside of commercial publishers, so it is challenging to locate. In this webinar, librarians will review grey literature and how to find it so you can incorporate this valuable information in your research. While this session will focus on resources for students and researchers in the social sciences, the skills from this session may be transferred to other academic disciplines, and all are welcome to attend.

After participating in this webinar, you will be able to:

  • Define grey literature
  • Locate grey literature in library databases and the open web
  • Evaluate the quality of the grey literature resources
