Finding and Accessing Psychological Tests and Measures Online
This workshop introduces social and behavioral science disciplines to the library’s major psychological testing and assessment databases. Participants will learn effective strategies for locating test reviews, administrative materials, and full-text measurements across different library subscription databases. Through guided exploration and practical exercises, attendees will develop skills to evaluate and access the testing resources needed for their research.
Target Audience/Disciplines: Psychology & Educational Psychology
Learning outcomes:
- Navigate the primary psychological testing databases (Mental Measurements Yearbook, Health and Psychosocial Instruments (HAPI), and PsycTESTS) to locate specific assessments and their supporting documentation
- Determine test availability status
- Assess population fit and administrative requirements
- Understand usage restrictions and permissions
This workshop will be conducted via Zoom. After registration, you will receive the link and password via email. This session will be recorded.
Cancellation policy: The workshop may be canceled due to low enrollment on the day of the planned event. Slides and any previous recordings will be shared via email with anyone registered for the event.
