Homelessness: Finding and Visualizing Data to Promote Policy Change In-Person

This workshop will provide a brief overview of tools and resources that you can use to support your research to provide more context and enact change to address the social issue of homelessness. This workshop will also cover local Los Angeles organizations and resources that work on issues such as, Covid-19, over policing of the homeless population, housing justice and more.

Learning Objective: Participants will be able to independently find and use data to address the social work grand challenge to End Homelessness and promote policy change and understand how to access basic mapping and visualization tools to explore the data.

This workshop will be conducted via Zoom. After registration, you will receive the link and password via email one week before the workshop. This session will be recorded.
