Get to Know ERIC (Education Resources Information Center) In-Person

This workshop will focus on ERIC (Education Resources Information Center), the main online database of education research and information (including peer-reviewed articles), sponsored by the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) of the U.S. Department of Education. ERIC covers all levels of education from early childhood to adulthood. This session is useful for anyone conducting research in the area of education.

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the contents and features of ERIC

  • Access peer-reviewed articles and other materials in the field of education

  • Use the ERIC thesaurus to identify search terms and useful terminology
